A pine-backed sandy beach in Binibèquer Nou with very clear, shallow water, one of the most popular beaches near Maó and Sant Lluís.

## Getting there

Parking nearby; sunbed and umbrella hire in season. The beach and bar have wheelchair and pushchair access.

- Los Bucaneros: A fishermen’s-hut beach bar with a bright red door and seating across the rocks, open since the early 1970s: Mediterranean tapas (mussels, fish), ice cream and pomada (gin with lemonade)

- Arrive early in summer; the beach is small for its popularity.

## Worth combining

- Binibèquer Vell, about a kilometre away: a whitewashed holiday village built in the 1970s in the style of a fishing port, with most of the area’s restaurants and shops.
