# Cala en Turqueta

Cala en Turqueta is in Ciutadella on Menorca’s south coast. The catalogue lists white sand, an approximate length of 110 metres and a walk of about 10 minutes from the nearest parking area or bus stop.

A classic south-coast cove: white sand, pine woods and clear water between limestone cliffs. It is one of the most photographed beaches on the island.

## Getting there

Signposted from Ciutadella via Sant Joan de Missa. The car park, about 850 m from the sand (around 15 minutes on foot), holds a limited number of cars and closes when full, often early in the morning. Bus 68 runs from Ciutadella in summer.

## Good to know

- Arrive before about 10:00 in summer, or visit mid-week.
- Toilets and a lifeguard in season, but no bar: bring food and water.
- Boats must anchor outside the buoyed swimming area.
