A shallow, sheltered bay in front of the fishing village of Es Grau, at the edge of S’Albufera des Grau natural park. Very calm water makes it ideal for children and paddling.

## Getting there

Free car park at the entrance to the village, about 5 minutes from the beach; summer bus from Maó.

## Where to eat nearby

- Bar Es Moll: Quayside tapas bar with a terrace over the bay and Illa d’en Colom: sardines, clams, mussels and squid. Fills up; may close in winter
- Tamarindos: More formal restaurant at the water’s edge, known for paella, fideuà and fresh fish. Book ahead
- Can Bernat des Grau: Known for fish dishes and caldereta de llagosta (Menorcan lobster stew)

Restaurants and opening hours change by season; check before you go.

## Good to know

- Kayaks and boats go out to Illa d’en Colom, an island just offshore.
- Because the bay is shallow and closed, the water can feel warm but less clear than on open beaches.

## Worth combining

- S’Albufera des Grau natural park: walking trails around the lagoon start from the village.
- Sa Mesquida to the south.
