# Son Xoriguer

Son Xoriguer is in Ciutadella on Menorca’s south coast. The catalogue lists white sand, an approximate length of 150 metres and a walk of about 3 minutes from the nearest parking area or bus stop.

A gently curved resort bay on the south-west tip of the island, next to Cala en Bosc. Soft sand, shallow water and a promenade with cafés make it one of the busiest family beaches around Ciutadella.

## Getting there

Free parking is spread over several areas behind the beach, and resort buses run from Ciutadella. It is usually crowded in high summer, so arrive early for space on the sand.

## Where to eat nearby

- Promenade cafés and beach bars: Snacks, ice cream and drinks right behind the sand
- Cala en Bosc marina: A few minutes’ walk west: seafood restaurants, paella and casual takeaway around the harbour

Restaurants and opening hours change by season; check before you go.

## Good to know

- Popular for windsurfing and diving trips from the marina.
- For a quieter swim, follow the Camí de Cavalls east towards Cala Parejals and the Cova des Pardals rock pool.

## Worth combining

- Cap d’Artrutx lighthouse, about 20 minutes on foot from the marina, has a restaurant beside it that guides recommend for sunset.
