Sa Caleta
Sa Caleta, also called Caleta d’en Gorries, is a small sandy cove south of Ciutadella. It shares the outer inlet with Santandria but has its own beach, beside Torre des Castellar. Shallow water and nearby services make it a convenient family stop.

Wind & shelter
The catalogue records this beach as opening towards SW. Wind coming from that direction can drive waves towards the shore; wind from the opposite direction may give more shelter near the sand. Headlands, terrain and offshore swell can change the result.
During northerly Tramuntana, south-coast coves may offer more shelter. Southerly winds can bring waves into these beaches; compare the forecast rather than relying on the coast alone.
