Getting there
Free car park at the entrance to the village, about 5 minutes from the beach; summer bus from Maó.
Where to eat nearby
- Bar Es Moll — Quayside tapas bar with a terrace over the bay and Illa d’en Colom: sardines, clams, mussels and squid. Fills up; may close in winter
- Tamarindos — More formal restaurant at the water’s edge, known for paella, fideuà and fresh fish. Book ahead
- Can Bernat des Grau — Known for fish dishes and caldereta de llagosta (Menorcan lobster stew)
Restaurants, menus and opening hours change from season to season; many close in winter. Check before you go and book in summer.
Good to know
- Kayaks and boats go out to Illa d’en Colom, an island just offshore.
- Because the bay is shallow and closed, the water can feel warm but less clear than on open beaches.
Worth combining
- S’Albufera des Grau natural park: walking trails around the lagoon start from the village.
- Sa Mesquida to the south.

Wind & shelter
The catalogue records this beach as opening towards E. Wind coming from that direction can drive waves towards the shore; wind from the opposite direction may give more shelter near the sand. Headlands, terrain and offshore swell can change the result.
North-facing beaches such as Cavalleria can be exposed during Tramuntana. Compare south-coast alternatives and the actual wind and waves before travelling.
